I was up early today, 6:30 to be out of the apartment before dawn. I gathered my camera gear and headed up to the train station in hopes of getting a cab to take me to Piazza Michelangelo. Today, Vance was almost killed by an egg. Well not really, but the soft boiled egg was not quite cooked enough and it was cooked (open) in the microwave. When Vance went to eat it it exploded and sprayed egg allover the kitchen. I kind of wish we had a video camera going, Vance must have jumped 2 feet in the air! Up early, breakfast and on to the train station to catch our train to Florence. The train ride was uneventful, smooth and pretty. Very different views as we came into the Tuscany region.
